Runestones

Enchanters can craft 2 types of runestones.

Regular runestones which can be fitted into weapons to add a special power to the weapon that triggers on a percentage chance during combat.

Armor runestones can be crafted that fit into armor, but they operate differently to regular items due to potential abuse issues if they followed the normal rules of the game and the crafting system.

Regular Defender Runes

  • No Star, makes a level 40 Defender Rune.
  • 1 Star, makes a level 60 Defender Rune.
  • 2 Stars, makes a level 80 Defender Rune.
  • 3 Stars, makes a level 100 Defender Rune.
  • 4 Stars, level 120.
  • 5 Stars, level 140.
  • 6 Stars, level 160.
  • 7 Stars, level 180.

Greater Defender Runes
  • No Star, makes a level 80 Greater Defender Rune.
  • 1 Star, level 100.
  • 2 Stars, level 120.
  • 3 Stars, level 140.
  • 4 Stars, level 160.
  • 5 Stars, level 180.
  • 6 Stars, level 200.
  • 7 Stars, level 220.

Adding a Defender rune of a higher level than the item it is being applied to will increase the items level to match that of the rune. I.e. putting a level 40 Defenders Rune into a Level 20 Shirt would change the Shirts level to 40 but not change its stats.
